Forests effectively store carbon and are home to many different life forms. Various trees and plants become home to another variety of creatures. It is a popular belief that in order to protect nature we must leave the forests untouched. However, if a forest is left uncared for, negative consequences appear. A couple of examples are an increased emission of carbon dioxide emissions and an increased risk of forest fires. PEFC has created international standards for sustainable forest management with research made by scholars around the world.

According to the data on the left, the PEFC certification is the result of CoC (chain of custody) tracking based on ISO 14020, and the use of recycled materials in the process of CoC is based on ISO/IEC14021. According to the ESG guidelines evaluated by the government, ISO 14021 is included in the green service certification.
This means that PEFC (KFCC-CoC) complies with the government-recommended eco-friendly ESG. In addition, CXP, which is PEFC (KFCC-CoC) certified, has obtained international certification for the eco-friendly nature of the products.
